This pocket-sized Roman Parishioner is a sought-after 'Jewel Edition,' which refers to its compact format.
It's bound in a very dark green, almost black leather, features five raised bands on the spine, dotted metal corner caps, two ornate double metal clasp closures that include leaves and flowers within the metal attachment pieces and more flowers in the clasps themselves in both brass- and silver-tone metals.
All page edges are gold-gilt; there is gold dentelle work around the turn-ins on the front and back covers, and the endpapers feature a unique, colorful geometric print in gold, red, and green. Several engravings throughout.
75 mm W x 107 mm H. 512 pages.
Condition: Marks to the leather on the front cover and back cover; corner caps are loose in some spots but still attached; some wear to the top edge of the spine. Good condition.
