EU Customers

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at stinkyoldbooks@gmail.com before the 14-day period expires. You must then return the item(s) within 14 days of notifying us.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
• Items must be returned in the same condition as received
• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item(s), using the same payment method as the original purchase
• Personalized or custom-inscribed books are exempt from this right

All Other Customers

At Stinky Old Books, we specialize in storied antique treasures that have often lived many lives before coming to us. Due to their antique and vintage nature, all items sold are final sale. These unique antique items often carry marks of age and use, which add to their interest and hint at their past. As we strive to provide accurate descriptions and detailed photos as well as the disclosure of significant imperfections, we are unable to accommodate returns or exchanges.

We encourage customers to reach out with any questions before purchasing. Our team is happy to provide additional details, photos, or videos to help you feel confident in your decision. It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly review and inquire about an item before completing a purchase.

In the rare event that your item is damaged during transit, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to file a claim with the shipping carrier and assist in resolving the matter.
