Brown leather cover with tooled cross and linework border design on front and back covers, all page edges gold-gilt with intricate gauffered floral pattern, two engravings, and a gold-tone metal frame around front and back covers and floral clasp closure.

Condition: Marks and surface wear to cover and spine, some discoloration/tarnish to metal, discoloration on endpapers, some foxing throughout, some loose pages, back cover board is partially detached from the book block, metal clasp is bent but functional. Good to fair condition.
