Paroissien Romain. Printed by Antoine Maître. Dijon, France. Published 1870. French and Latin Language.
It's a pocket-sized red leather liturgical manual that was typically carried by a lay Catholic to church services. This copy reflects the traditional Roman Rite liturgy used throughout France in the late 19th century and contains parallel text (usually Latin on one side and French on the other) so the parishioner could actively follow the priest's actions and prayers during weekly and seasonal services.
