A charming brown leather binding with raised linework across covers and spine, double brass clasp with intricate cross-shaped floral design, all page edges gold gilt, gold dentelle around turn-ins, chromolithograph frontispiece, several engravings throughout.

Condition: Clasps are tarnished, some faint marks to covers, some scratches to gold page edges, very light foxing. Very good condition.
